In early 2016, we launched our free eye campaign at a remote ethnic village of Bangladesh, Kakonhat. The percentage of residents having visual impairment was shocking. Most of them developed Grade-4 cataracts.
In 2017, we performed cataract and other critical eye surgeries of 87 patients residing at Kakonhat.
KHEA Foundation provided all the medical facilities to these patients – reviving their lost vision by correcting their visual impairments so that they can re-live with their vision again.
In 2016 we also performed cataract and other critical eye surgeries on 62 patients residing at char land
