50% of drivers of both private and public transport are either ignoring the problem of weak eyesight or are not aware of it. Many consider vision tests are expensive but 30% of them can get their vision corrected.

Splendor Low Vision and Rehabilitation Center, one of the implementing organizations of KHEA FOUNDATION, announced to render free vision tests for every driver with a driving license. To convey this to the target group initially all driver malik shomiti members were requested to be present at the program.

Syed Modasser Ali, Health, family, and social welfare advisor of the honorable Prime minister Sheikh Hasina and Mr. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Inspector General of Bangladesh Police, inaugurated the event.
